Simone Waterman
Simone has numerous years of both personal and professional experiences working across many aspects of disability and diversity.
Simone has been working in the field of Early Childhood intervention services, supporting parents who have children with Autism, Developmental delay or other disability for over 10 years.
Simone has supported families in conversations with various educational settings to seek equity of access for their child’s education and care journey.
Simone can work with other professionals and providers to ensure each child and their families are accessing the best support possible.
Simone has had experience with NDIS planning and funding, she can work with families to test their child’s eligibility for NDIS funding, work with families to endeavour to maximise NDIS funding reassessments, as well as work with families to understand NDIS in general.
Qualifications:
- Diploma of Children Services
- Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)
- Bachelor of Primary Teaching
- Bachelor of Early Childhood
- Masters of Special Education
- Currently completing Graduate Diploma of Counselling
- Various Training courses around Parenting, Trauma, Coaching, and more.
